1. Required materials and tools: perforated paper-faced gypsum board; Uniflott (joining material); scraper; light steel keel and accessories; self-tapping screws; rubber roller, etc.
2. When cutting the perforated board, be careful not to damage the bottom cover. You can use a knife or saw to cut it. The edge should be slightly beveled, use a grinder and use 360-grit fine sandpaper to gently grind at a 45-degree angle. Use primer to brush the edge. In order for the joint material to fully fill the joint between the boards, it is recommended to chamfer the edges of the boards on both sides before installation.
3. Marking of perforated boards. All perforated boards with holes arranged in straight lines and staggered forms have red and blue marks on the edges. When the boards are spliced and installed, make sure that the red edge of one board corresponds to the blue edge of the adjacent board. This rule applies to both long and short sides.
4. Control of spacing. Use straight lines and diagonals to control the regularity of the holes. If necessary, an auxiliary hole alignment device should be used to control the distance between adjacent boards. A 3mm gap should be left between the boards for joint treatment.
5. The long side of the perforated board should be installed perpendicular to the secondary keel. It is recommended to install irregular perforated boards with staggered seams. When installing perforated boards, joints should not be made on the same keel.
6. Installation of perforated boards: It is recommended that 3 people install them; the perforated board should be installed from the middle of the ceiling, so a center line should be determined first. The order of installing the boards is to install the boards adjacent to the long side first, and then install the boards adjacent to the short side.
7. Joint treatment: and install in a fan-shaped divergent direction from here; the screws are fixed between the holes, and the spacing should not exceed 200mm; the screws should be slightly lower than the paper surface by 0.5-1mm, and the paper surface should not be damaged; the nail holes are treated with a special joint material Uniflott.
